Textile makers are facing acute competition in a globalised market where technology and machinery plays a major role in the development of new products that could help enterprises to stand out from their competitors. The 18^th YiwuTex will be once again grandly held at Yiwu International Expo Centre from 13-15 June 2017 with a new focus on healthcare textiles, innovative yarn and its applications.

The show will feature three thematic zones – Functional Knitting Machinery Zone, Smart Apparel Machinery Zone and Digital Printing Machinery Zone. Visitors can look forward to a wonderful gathering with top-notch industry players and textile machineries.

The textile and garment exports of China in 2015 suffered a 4.9% decrease compared with the previous year, while the profit of sportswear makers witnessed over 20% increase, which is mainly due to the sales of functional wear. The figure indicates that high-tech and value-add apparel products have become the market trend and the key for traditional textile industry is to get out of its dilemma.

Embracing by the new market development, YiwuTex 2017 will focus on healthy and functional textile products. The introduction of latest technology in the show could revitalize the production chain of the textile industry and strengthen the enterprises by adding values to their products.

The 3-day Show attracted 9,380 local and international trade visitors from 36 countries and regions. There were also 24 industrial associations coming to visit and purchase at the show.
