Nestling Technologies' i-Scan Ensures Contamination-Free Cotton

Coimbatore-based Nestling Technologies specialising in textile machinery upgrades among other things made a spectacular display of their latest ware in India ITME 2016 exhibition. Established way back in 1996, Nestling is among the few  organisations equipped with technology & capacity to design, manufacture and monitor textile electronic systems and devices. In recent years it has proved to be one of the most admired organizations with electronic textile machine management solutions. In a one-to-one interview with Textile Excellence on the sidelines of the India ITME show, Chandrasekaran S CEO, Nestling Technologies spoke at length about the success story, response at the show and future prospects for the company. Excerpts from the interview are reproduced below.

Tell us about your two decades long journey and how you transformed it into a success story?

We envision ourselves as a textile industry benchmark. We achieve this benchmark through the excellence of our people, our innovative process approach and overall conduct. This vision is driven by our performance culture committed to enduring values such as aspiration targets, safety and social responsibility, continuous improvement, openness and transparency. Our people are guided by the vision of "Best in the manner in which we think and act; best in the products we deliver; and best in our value system and ethics."

The commitment to excel in our business has been embedded in our organisation through a holistic methodology that enables us to respond to customer expectations through continuously improving the quality of the way we think and act. We cannot dream to accomplish excellence in our business endeavours without our customers being part of it. With us quality and business excellence attains a different meaning called value creation.

How has your vision helped you in the current day scenario?

After we launched our products and services we gained recognition among both Indian and global clients. Today we are a known name among the who's who of Indian textile industry and also globally. It's been a very satisfying journey for us. I have confidence that we will keep up our services and products globally. We have a very strong presence in the Indian market and also in Bangladesh.

Tell us about your presence in Bangladesh and European countries.

We have a partner channel in Bangladesh. Our prospects there look very bright and we are feeling confident about it. In this exhibition, our overall channel partners all over the globe are corroborating with us and we are expecting overwhelming results. We are setting a trend across India with our quality products. The trend we have set has also been maintained with German companies and other European companies.  Presently, we are setting up a couple of installations in Bangladesh.

Can you explain the advantages of your premium brand i-Scan?

We, at nestling, are always committed to incorporate right technologies to provide right solution for the highest elimination efficiency of foreign impurities. i-Scan has some unique advantages. It provides four stages of detection, namely detection by ultra violet modules, detection by infrared modules, detection by ultrasonic sensors and detection by visible light (HR CCD cameras).  The other salient features are that our new geometrical design (inclined path) increases the probability of detection and elimination of foreign matters. A dedicated compartment Blue-I increases the cleaning efficiency of white PP to many fold. In addition, we provide 100% indigenously designed, cost effective after sales service and spares. I-scan provides for a built-in suction fan assembly that reduces the missing of ejected foreign matters & the space requirement to minimum. In addition, it possesses all other standard features.

How has the response been to your stall in the India ITME 2016 exhibition?

We have had a very robust response in this exhibition. It has proved to be more than satisfactory. We are expecting to see more familiar and new faces by the end of the exhibition.  We are happy to announce that key decision makers visited our stall and expressed serious intentions to buy our brand. We have also established new trade links with our Indian clientele and are expecting good results for the near future.
