The Santex Rimar Group has announced its decision to be directly involved in textile machinery sales and service activities of Santex Rimar India, whose facilities are based in Coimbatore as well as Mumbai.
The decision has been taken in order to increase accountability as well as ensure continuous support, improved quality and more efficiency for its customers, according to an official release.
"The Indian textile, apparel and technical textile markets are projected to grow at a CAGR respectively of 9% and 8% from 2013 to 2023. In this scenario, customers need to have a direct relationship with us and we want to fulfil all their needs faster and better," Santex Rimar Group CEO Stefano Gallucci said.
Incidentally, the group's product portfolio includes Santex, Sperotto Rimar, Cavitec, Isotex, Solwa and SMIT.
"We are recruiting experienced talent who can be new proud group members looking forward to enhancing customer relations. We have already installed more than 4,000 machines all over India and we want to keep growing along with our customers. We want to be sound, nimble and responsive at the same time," Gallucci said. The group is a technology partner for knitted, woven fabrics, technical textiles, nonwovens and green solutions.
Cavitec and Isotex happen to lead the technical textiles machinery market, while Santex and Sperotto Rimar produce machines for textile finishing and Solwa provides eco-friendly machinery for water treatment, food dehydration, agribusiness sector as well as industrial waste management.
With the entrance of SMIT, the group recently became a solution provider to the weaving sector as well, the release stated. SMIT is one of the world's leading manufacturers of weaving machines, which was established in 1938 and is renowned for its high standard levels of innovation, productivity and versatility, ensuring competitiveness among a large variety of applications, from garments fabrics to home textiles, terry cloth as well as technical fabrics.
