Inarco unveils Iconic series of Cots & Aprons in India ITME 2012

Inarco, the leading Indian manufacturer of cots and aprons, launched its Iconic series on Day 1 at India ITME 2012.  The series was unveiled by Sapan Mukherjee, CEO, Spinning, Alok Industries.

Speaking to Textile Excellence, Mukherjee said, "Inarco is the best in this segment. At Alok, 80-90% of our spinning machines are equipped with Inarco's cots and aprons. Our new spinning facilities will also have Inarco products. These are the most efficient and the best products in this segment that helps reduce manufacturing cost."

After the success of the Excellence series, the company has launched the Iconic series, with even more enhanced features. The I 463A ensures high yarn quality consistency and life for conventional and compact systems for spinning all cotton counts.

The series ensures better yarn quality, especially in fine and superfine counts, improved grindability and longer life, improved working performance and minimum clearer waste.

The I 5900A/15910A is a specially designed apron pair for Extra Long Ring Frames and Rieter machines for extra long life. These aprons ensure reduced power consumptions, consistent yarn quality and higher productivity.

Inarco is the only manufacturer of cots and aprons in the world to be awarded the Kaizen Award for Operational Excellence. The company has the single largest integrated factory in South Asia and South East Asia, with a capacity of 60 million pieces per annum.

Inarco was the first to introduce the Easifitt inner-liner technology - a product licensed to Armstrong World Industries internationally. It was also the first to develop and promote Aluminium core (Alufitt) cot in India - a cot center guaranteeing zero stress, improving yarn quality and working performance dramatically. Inarco believes quality and consistency is not an accident, it is a philosophy ingrained in the entire vertical of the organization. Since 2005, the company has worked with the Kaizen Institute and Honeywell Technologies on a host of LEAN, TPM and TQC tools to bring about improvement in quality, cost and delivery performance:

  • Taguchi methods of Robust Design for Process and Product Design/ Optimization
  • Shainin methods for Design of Experiment
  • Jishu Hozen Autonomous Maintenance
  • Pull implementation through Kanban applications

It is no surprise then that Inarco is the most preferred brand of cots &aprons in India and major textile centers around the world.
