Arvind Aims At Rs 100-crore Revenue From Organised Apparel Brand Market In 4 Years

Arvind Store, a part of Arvind Ltd – a leading textile and branded apparel company, has announced the launch of its ready-to-wear apparel brand called ‘Arvind’.

 

The company aims to generate a revenue of Rs 100 crore in four years from what has been estimated to be a US $10 billion organised retail brand market, which is growing at a rate of around 16% year-on-year, Arvind Ltd Executive Director Kulin Lalbhai stated.

 

The newly launched men’s fashion wear brand which will have clothes under three categories of ‘work, leisure and ceremonial’, will be available at the company’s own retail outlets called ‘The Arvind Store’ across 100 cities. The brand will also be retailed online on at nnnow.com.

 

The garments which have been priced upwards of Rs 1,299 include blazers, bundis, kurtas, polos shirts, shorts, suits and bandhgalas, the company stated.

 

Arvind Ltd is one of India's largest integrated textile and apparel companies with a presence in branded garments.

 

The company has a portfolio of self owned as well as licensed brands. Its own brands include Flying Machine and Newport among others, while its licensed product brands include big global names like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Arrow, Gant, Nautica, IZOD, US Polo Association, Hanes, Sephora, The Children's Place and Gap, as well as Aeropostale.
