The Sixth Edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo kicked off to a colourful start in Dhaka on May 17, based on the theme ‘Denim Networks’ to highlight the importance of developing relationships in the denim industry. The expo will help promote the importance of sustainability, address environmental and ecological issues which affect business, as well as promote ways to improve and develop best practices.
“This season’s expo will deliver a dynamic environment to welcome all denim lovers offering the perfect platform to develop new business relationships,” Bangladesh Denim Expo Founder & CEO Mostafiz Uddin said about the two-day expo which began at Bashundhara International Convention City.
Organisers of the Bangladesh Denim Expo said that the event is an international platform showcasing the wealth of opportunities available in Bangladesh covering all aspects of the denim supply chain with exhibitors displaying fabrics, garments, threads, machineries, finishing equipments as well as accessories.
Incidentally, annual global denim sales amount to more than US $56 billion which is expected to reach US $64 billion by the end of 2020, industry sources said.
