BD Garment Manufacturers To Receive Global Fashion Trend Exposure At Int’nl Dhaka Summit

The maiden fashionology summit will be hosted by Bangladesh at its capital city Dhaka barely a week from today. It’s an international event that brings out the details of technology and innovation in the fashion industry. The one-day event will be held on February 12, 2018, at the International Convention Centre Bashundra (ICCB).

The event organizer and founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) Mostafiz Uddin expressed his optimism to the local Bangladesh daily stating, “Today, technology has become a big part of everyone’s daily life. The fashion and apparel industry is no exception to this. The global production and supply model that has been in existence for decades in the apparel industry has been replaced by fast fashion. We are bringing the most inspiring and innovative thinkers from across the globe under one roof. Our goal is to initiate the much needed conversations on technology, digitalization and innovation inside the apparel industry.”

The first of its kind event, on garment technology envisages bringing together of the GenNext global fashion experts. The Bangladeshi garment manufacturers will get an opportunity to interact with the cream of global fashion and discuss in detail the latest trends engendered by the tech-driven fashion industry. The Fahsionology summit intends to give exposure to Bangaldesh’s garment manufacturers to the latest technology that is currently followed by the garment industry. The manufacturers can also have their queries addressed and receive encouragement for adopting the trending technology.
