US based multinational Honeywell will set up a Rs 1200 crore textile plant in Butibori MIDC. It plans to produce Spectra - a specialised fibre used for defence, semi-defence and paramilitary purposes. A delegation of the company led by Brian James Lasy had met chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai and aksed him to provide speedy clearances for the plant. Fadnavis promised them all cooperation. Honeywell has already identified a 50 acre plot in Butibori.
