Sutlej Bags Two Texprocil Gold Awards For 2019-20

Sutlej Textiles And Industries Ltd won two Texprocil awards for 2019-20. The company won the gold award for exceptional exports of processed yarn, and the Special Achievement award for specialty yarns. On behalf of the entire Sutlej team, President and CEO, Mr. Updeep Singh and Senior VP, Exports, Dhiraj Banka received the gold awards from Texprocil. The virtual export award function was presided over by Smriti Irani, Union Minister of Textiles, and Women and Child Development. Said Updeep Singh, "I dedicate the awards to the Sutlejites on the ground at the manufacturing units, our supply chain partners and most importantly to the entire Sutlej stakeholder community." As a pioneer in dyed and value-added yarns, Sutlej has always been a practitioner of conscious innovation in the textile industry, continuing its manufacturing of superior products throughout the pandemic. Even as exports during 2019-20 were not much impacted due to the pandemic, the export awards gain even more significance in these times as its showcases and bolsters the spirit of the industry.
