man-made cellulosic fibres, has announced that Vadiraj Kulkarni has assumed the
role of Business Head of its Cellulosic Fibres business, effective April 1,
2025. He succeeds HK Agarwal, who has transitioned to the role of Group Advisor
at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited (ABMCPL). Kulkarni
joined Aditya Birla Group on October 1, 2024, and is well-positioned to lead
the next phase of growth for the company’s cellulosic fibre division, which
plays a pivotal role in global textile sustainability efforts.
Kulkarni brings with him over 28 years of robust experience in P&L management, operations, and manufacturing, with a proven track record in delivering performance excellence across large-scale industrial platforms.
Grasim’s cellulosic fibre business, known for pioneering environmentally responsible products such as Livaeco and Birla Modal, is poised for strategic expansion under Kulkarni’s stewardship. His leadership is expected to enhance operational efficiencies, accelerate innovation in eco-friendly fibre technologies, and deepen partnerships across global textile ecosystems.
