The AMANN Group has
announced a major realignment of its executive leadership, appointing Markus
Nicolaus as Chief Executive Officer and Christine Bauer as Chief Commercial
Officer, effective June 1, 2025. The new four-member Executive Board now
includes Nicolaus, Bauer, Ivo Herzog as Chief Sustainability & Innovation
Officer, and Peter Morgalla as Chief Operating Officer.
Nicolaus, with over 25
years of experience in strategic transformation and international expansion,
takes charge with a mandate to position AMANN for sustainable global growth and
resilience. The company, a leading manufacturer of high-quality sewing and
embroidery threads, has invested over €100 million in expanding its Asian
production facilities in recent years and supplies products integral to more
than half of the airbags produced worldwide.
Bauer, the first woman to
join AMANN’s Executive Board, has been with the company since 2017 and
previously led its Consumer Division Mettler. In her new role, she will focus
on strengthening sales and marketing strategy with an emphasis on customer proximity,
market orientation, and sustainable expansion.
Advisory Board Chairman
Alwin Epple described the appointments as a “forward-looking signal” aimed at
reinforcing AMANN’s position as a reliable and innovative leader in the
high-tech textile industry, with an enduring focus on quality, customer
satisfaction, and international competitiveness.
