Vardhman Textiles Reports Decline In Q2 Net Profit

Ludhiana based textile giant Vardhman Textiles Limited has announced its financial results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2025. The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹187.03 crore for the quarter. This was based on a total income from operations amounting to ₹2,516.88 crore. The financial statements were published in the Business Standard and Desh Sewak newspapers on October 24, 2025.

The company's performance shows a decline when compared year on year. The net profit for the same quarter in the previous fiscal year stood at ₹196.04 crore, while income was ₹2,583.90 crore. Profit also fell sequentially from the ₹207.17 crore reported in the preceding quarter ending June 30, 2025. Income from operations, however, saw a slight increase from the previous quarter's ₹2,455.96 crore.

A look at the half yearly figures reflect a similar trend. For the six months ended September 30, 2025, Vardhman Textiles recorded a consolidated net profit of ₹394.20 crore, a decrease from ₹435.35 crore in the corresponding period last year. The total income for the half year was ₹4,972.84 crore. The company's basic Earnings Per Share for the quarter stood at ₹6.57. On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of ₹189.98 crore for the quarter.
