Bharat Tex 2026 Returns: Powering India’s Global Export Ambition With ESG and Industry 4.0 Focus

The Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) has formally announced the third edition of Bharat Tex, India’s premier global textiles and apparel event, scheduled from 14 to 17 July 2026 in New Delhi. This strategic move signals an aggressive consolidation of India’s position as a sustainable and trusted global sourcing hub. The forthcoming edition builds on the exceptional performance of Bharat Tex 2025, which saw over 5,000+ exhibitors and successfully attracted 6,000 international buyers from 120+ countries.

For the Indian textile fraternity, this platform is a crucial engine for growth, having generated export opportunities estimated at a significant ~ US$2.5 billion and secured investment commitments exceeding ₹2,100 crore in its previous edition. The event is meticulously aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s transformative 5F Vision (Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign), uniting every link of the value chain under one roof.

For industry stakeholders focused on making data driven decisions, the 2026 agenda is vital. A key highlight will be the Global Textile Dialogue 2026, which will convene leaders to deliberate on future critical themes including Industry 4.0, ESG imperatives, R&D collaborations, and emerging trade dynamics. This focus will further spotlight India’s leadership in circular manufacturing and textile innovation, while offering essential engagement opportunities for MSMEs, start-ups, and artisans with global markets and technology partners.
