Global Sourcing Expo Melbourne 2025 Records Strong Growth And Sets Stage For Expanded International Engagement

The Global Sourcing Expo Melbourne 2025 concluded on a strong note, delivering impressive gains in visitor turnout, exhibitor participation and industry engagement across three days at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event welcomed more than 5,000 visitors, an 8% rise from last year, reaffirming its growing significance for Australia’s retail, sourcing and manufacturing ecosystem.

Together with the co-located China Clothing Textile Accessories Expo, the Melbourne edition brought over 800 exhibitors from more than 16 countries, covering apparel, textiles, footwear, homewares and supply chain services. The international representation reflected rising demand among Australian businesses for diversified sourcing bases and deeper global partnerships.

The Global Sourcing Seminar Program continued to stand out as a major draw for attendees. Sessions covered the expanding role of artificial intelligence in product development, the urgency of sustainability and responsible sourcing, and new shifts in global supply chain strategies. Strong seminar turnout demonstrated the industry’s appetite for knowledge-driven engagement and insights relevant to rapidly evolving market conditions.

Visitor and exhibitor feedback underscored the Expo’s quality and impact. Many praised the event’s networking strength, with exhibitors noting high-quality buyer interactions and commercial traction. The organisers earned commendation for delivering a well-curated, globally competitive platform that supports long-term sourcing relationships. The next edition of the Global Sourcing Expo will return to Sydney from 16 to 18 June 2026 at ICC Sydney, where organisers expect continued growth in scale, international engagement and industry participation.
