Bombay Dyeing has introduced its Winter Collection 2025,
timed to meet rising demand for premium home textiles during the winter and
Christmas season. The collection focuses on bedding solutions that combine
warmth, comfort and contemporary design, targeting urban households that
increasingly view home décor as an extension of personal lifestyle.
India’s home textiles market is estimated at over US$13
billion and continues to grow at nearly 8% annually, driven by rising
disposable incomes, premiumisation and demand for season specific products.
Winter bedding remains a key growth segment, particularly in northern and
western regions, where demand peaks during December and January.
The new range features a comprehensive Top of Bed collection
designed to enhance bedroom aesthetics while delivering functional warmth.
Reversible comforters stand out as a core offering, allowing consumers to
switch styles without changing products. The comforters use premium fabrics
that retain heat without excessive weight, addressing consumer preference for
breathable and easy-care bedding.
The collection also includes microfibre filled comforters
that balance softness and durability. Geometric patterns and modern colour
palettes aim to attract younger consumers seeking functional yet expressive
home solutions. Mink blankets form another highlight, offering plush textures
and traditional design elements suited for colder nights. Printed flannel
blankets add a lighter option, designed for everyday use across bedrooms and
living spaces.
Khiroda Jena, Chief Financial Officer of Bombay Dyeing, said
the winter range reflects the brand’s focus on innovation and evolving consumer
lifestyles, while maintaining the quality standards associated with its legacy.
Bombay Dyeing, which has served Indian households for more
than a century, continues to strengthen its home fashion portfolio as organised
retail and branded home textiles gain share. Industry analysts note that
seasonal launches such as this help established brands reinforce market
leadership while responding to changing consumer expectations around comfort,
design and longevity.
Khiroda Jena, Chief Financial Officer of Bombay Dyeing, said the winter range reflects the brand’s focus on innovation and evolving consumer lifestyles, while maintaining the quality standards associated with its legacy.
