its new manufacturing and development facility in Sanand, Gujarat,
strengthening India’s role in advanced textile machinery production.
Operational for several months, the site has emerged as a key hub serving both
domestic and global markets.
The Sanand plant manufactures spinning preparation
machinery, card clothing and nonwoven equipment, supporting the rising demand
from India’s fast expanding textile sector and export markets. Spread across
164,000 square metres, the facility employs more than 1,000 professionals and
reflects a long-term commitment to scale, efficiency and customer proximity.
Sustainability remains central to the operation. The site
operates under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications and integrates
solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, electric vehicle charging
infrastructure and artificial intelligence driven process optimisation. These
measures align closely with India’s push toward greener manufacturing and lower
carbon intensity.
The campus also houses the Trützschler Training Academy and
a dedicated Customer Training Centre, strengthening skill development and
technical collaboration. Company leadership stated that the Sanand facility
enables faster innovation cycles and closer engagement with customers,
positioning Truetzschler India as a future ready partner in the global textile
machinery landscape.
