Devan Showcases Next Generation Comfort And Wellness Textiles At Heimtextil 2026

Devan Chemicals presented a strong innovation-led showcase at Heimtextil 2026 in Frankfurt, reinforcing its position as a key player in functional and comfort driven textile solutions for the global home and contract textiles market. The four-day event from January 13 to 16 brought together leading manufacturers, brands, and technology providers across the textile value chain.

Devan highlighted a portfolio of advanced technologies focused on sleep quality, thermal regulation, safety, and well-being. A major attraction was Devan Comfort, the company’s patented polymer technology engineered to actively regulate temperature and moisture throughout the night. The solution addresses growing consumer demand for sleep enhancing textiles as the global sleep economy is projected to cross US$ 585 billion by 2028.

The company also expanded its Devan Revital range through Recovera and Mood Boost, two clinically tested active ingredients delivered through patented micro encapsulation technology. These solutions support physical recovery and emotional balance through skin contact and olfactive release, aligning with rising interest in wellness integrated home textiles.

Sustainability featured strongly through Devan Bioflam, a 95% biobased flame retardant developed from renewable resources. The solution delivers effective fire protection while eliminating halogens, heavy metals, and antimony. Devan also introduced Devatec Wik Bio, a 100% plant based and readily biodegradable moisture management technology, supporting circular textile goals.

Another innovation, Devan Cool TOC HC 404, offered instant cool touch and long-lasting thermoregulation for foam applications used in bedding and furniture. Devan’s presence at Heimtextil 2026 underlined its commitment to combining science, sustainability, and comfort to meet evolving global demand for high performance home textiles.
