SRF Appoints Samir Kashyap As President And Chief Financial Officer

SRF Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Samir Kashyap as President and Chief Financial Officer, strengthening the company’s leadership at a time when the Indian manufacturing and textile value chain is navigating rapid global and domestic shifts. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors on January 20, 2026, following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Mr. Kashyap will assume charge on January 27, 2026.

Mr. Kashyap brings more than three decades of professional experience, including nearly 20 years in chief financial officer roles across globally respected organisations. His career spans leadership positions at companies such as Meta, SAP, and Genpact LLC, where he managed complex finance operations across emerging and developed markets. His expertise covers financial strategy, digital transformation, corporate finance, post-merger integration, investor relations, and governance.

At SRF, his appointment comes at a critical phase as the company continues to scale its operations across chemicals, packaging films, and technical textiles. The Indian textile and technical textiles market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of around 10% through 2028, supported by rising domestic demand, policy support, and increased focus on high value applications. SRF remains a key participant in this growth trajectory.

Mr. Kashyap is a Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce. His background in building high performing finance teams and driving profitability through strategic alignment is expected to support SRF’s long term growth objectives and capital allocation priorities.
