Indorama Ventures will debut at Indo Intertex 2026,
strengthening its engagement with Southeast Asia’s textile value chain through
a diversified fibre and yarn portfolio focused on circularity and performance.
Global polyester demand exceeds 60 million tonnes annually,
accounting for nearly 55% of total fibre consumption. Indorama’s showcase
includes recycled polyester solutions derived from post-consumer textile waste
and PET bottles, addressing rising demand for traceable and sustainable
materials across apparel and home textiles.
The company highlighted its regional manufacturing
footprint, enabling shorter lead times and improved supply chain resilience
across Asia. Technical offerings such as flame-retardant fibres and skin
contact compliant yarns reflect growing demand for functional textiles in
automotive, hygiene, and performance wear segments.
Industry experts note recycled polyester adoption is
expected to grow at over 8% annually, driven by sustainability mandates and
brand commitments. The participation underscores a strategic push toward
circular textile ecosystems in Asia.
