FAB Show 2026 Delivers Big Footfall, Bigger Market Confidence

The 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond Show (FAB Show 2026), organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), concluded successfully at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Held from April 2 to 4, the event brought together the entire textile and garment value chain, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and emerging technologies.

The show witnessed robust participation from export houses, textile manufacturers and international suppliers, reflecting continued confidence in India’s sourcing ecosystem despite global market uncertainties.

The event was inaugurated by industry leaders including Rushabh Gala (Zola Fashions), Deepak Sheta (Indoera), Santosh Bandari Yadav (Aditya Birla), Kapil Biradar (Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail), Pragati Srivastava (Raymond Lifestyle) and Essdee Shanmugasundaram, President, South India Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association, among others. Representatives from major regional associations including SGCCI, FTSI, GEA Rajasthan, Indore Readymade Association and others were also present.

Spanning nearly 2 lakh sq. ft., FAB Show 2026 hosted over 250 exhibitors, showcasing fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery and ancillary services. The exhibition attracted an estimated 14,000+ trade visitors from over 320 Indian cities, along with international buyers from 27 countries, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the US, UAE, Egypt and China.

A key highlight of the edition was the debut of the International Pavilion, which brought global suppliers alongside strong participation from major Indian textile clusters such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said, “FAB Show has become a key sourcing platform. It helps the industry access reliable suppliers and improve efficiency in a changing supply chain environment.”

The Surat Pavilion, featuring over 50 stalls, highlighted the city’s transition from a polyester-centric hub to a diversified textile centre producing cotton and sustainable fabrics.

Technology and sustainability emerged as central themes, with exhibitors showcasing AI-enabled solutions for design, production, inventory and retail optimisation. A dedicated Sustainability Pavilion, along with “Future Factory/Green Factory” concepts by Magus Fashion City, underlined the industry’s shift towards responsible manufacturing.

Naveen Sainani, Chairman, FAB Show, said, “The industry is moving towards smarter and more sustainable manufacturing. AI and green practices are becoming essential for competitiveness.”

CMAI leadership, including President Santosh Katariya, Vice Presidents Rohit Munjal and Ankur Gadia, Chief Mentor Rahul Mehta, and other office bearers, were present throughout the event.

With strong participation across domestic and international stakeholders, FAB Show 2026 reinforced its position as a key sourcing and networking platform, further strengthening India’s role as a global textile and apparel hub.
