RePut.ai Launches AI Sustainability Stack With TEXPROCIL And Control Union

RePut.ai has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TEXPROCIL, The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, and Control Union India at Bharat Tex to develop India’s AI Powered Textile Sustainability Stack, marking a significant step towards digital transformation of the textile sector.

The collaboration aims to create a trusted digital ecosystem that enables textile exporters to improve sustainability compliance, enhance supply chain transparency, and strengthen global competitiveness. The initiative combines TEXPROCIL’s industry vision, Control Union’s global expertise in certification and verification, and RePut.ai’s artificial intelligence-based sustainability platform.

The digital framework will support multiple sustainability outcomes through a unified data system, including end to end traceability, Digital Product Passports (DPPs), carbon accounting, ESG reporting, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance, and third-party verification.

Aligned with the Government of India’s 5F vision and Tex-RAMPS (Textiles Focused Research, Assessment, Monitoring, Planning, and Start-up) initiative, the platform is expected to help exporters meet evolving global regulations such as the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and strengthen India’s position in sustainable textile trade.

The partnership reflects the growing adoption of AI, digital infrastructure, and responsible manufacturing practices across India’s textile value chain, supporting the country’s ambition to become a globally competitive and sustainable textile hub.
