Luwa's Three New Technologies Are Perfect Fit For Textile Mills

Luwa Air Engineering AG was all ready to welcome visitors to demonstrate the new innovations at ITMA, 2015. The stall was quite filled with customers and we were told that Indian visitors in big numbers were quite interested to know more about Luwa’s new offerings. Overall, it was an wonderful business event for Luwa. Anurima Das, in conversation with Gottfried Abrell, CEO, Luwa.

What new did you have in store for ITMA?

We have three new products this time. The new generation of the Automatic Air Filter, Luwa TexGuard System and Axial Flow Fan series B600. All our customers will benefit from the new technologies on offer and most importantly they can avail a package from Luwa too, which includes all the technology on offer at one go.

Tell us some more about the working of these products.

The new generation of the Automatic Air Filter from Luwa is fitted for a wide range of applications in the textile industry. The simple and sturdy design, lowest floor space requirement and reduced power consumption makes this filter quite fit for every need. The TexGuard System comprehensively protects your machine from metal detection, spark detection and also eliminates the sparks right at the fibre separator line. The Axial Flow Fan series B600 focusses on power saving at both the spinning and the weaving mills. These fans have up to 6% lower power consumption compared to other high end axial flow fans.

Any competition from the existing companies?

Yes! We always keep an eye on competition when we gear up with something new. For our fire protection, metal detection machine we have considerable local competition. But the local products lack sophistication. On the other hand, the product we are offering is a perfect combination of the local model and the Luwa technology expertise. So even after facing competition, we are quite confident about the same.
