LCC Showcases Its Latest Card Clothing Technology At ITMA, Milan

What new did you showcase at ITMA?

We have a new service equipment machine 'Flat Clipping Machine' (LFCM 40 & LFCM 100). The machine has a centre carriage split and all top piston pressed while mounting for improved accuracy. It has a unique "fully top pressed' Flat Clipping operation, a split type carriage and linear motion guideways on both sides of the bed to ensure smooth accurate carriage movement. This technology is not a new one, it has been running for the last six to seven months now.

How has the response been for LCC?

The response for us has been good. We had visitors from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia and Vietnam. But we don't see a huge relevance of ITMA in Europe. The major market for LCC is in our part of the world. So we are here for networking and to maintain our relationship with our existing clients.

How are you contending with competition?

Indian market is a very challenging market at the moment, as everyone is fighting for the same customer base. With our experience of 50 years in the market we enjoy the highest market share in India. Along with our agent Voltas, we are very confident that we would maintain our market share in the industry.
