Murata Machinery Celebrates Delivery of 100000th QPRO Series Automatic Winder Drum to Sintex

Japanese machinery manufacturer Murata Machinery Ltd., has achieved a significant milestone recently in their QPRO series Automatic Winder business with the delivery of 100000th winding drum. The QPRO series Automatic Winder is among the top rated winders for spun yarn spinning industry and widely popular among Indian spinners. The 100000th QPRO Series Automatic Winder drum has been delivered to leading Indian textile manufacturer Sintex industries Ltd. To commemorate the occasion, Murata Machinery hosted a get-together at their stall in India ITME 2016, Mumbai which was attended by Amit Patel, Group Managing Director, Sintex Industries and his team, media, industry stalwarts and Daisuke Murata, President & CEO, Murata Machinery Ltd., Japan.

Daisuke Murata thanked the Indian textile industry for their trust on Murata’s machinery and said, “India is one of the most important markets for Murata today. China’s spinning industry is visibly slowing down. In India, the spinning industry has continued to invest in the latest technologies.” He also conveyed his gratitude to Amit Patel and Sintex Industries for being a long term customer.

Amit Patel on his remark conveyed that Murata’s Automatic Winders have the technological edge, operating cost advantages and backed by efficient after sales services. Patel also informed that the company will invest in compact yarn spinning and Sintex would be world’s largest compact yarn spinning mill in very near future. Undeterred by the `slowdown’ in the Indian and global cotton yarn market, he believes this is a temporary phase which is further aggravated by the demonitisation drive of the government. “In the long term, the industry will see strong growth,” he said.

The Indian spinning industry, which is the second-largest yarn production capacity in the world, is a leading customer of Murata machinery’s Automatic Winders due to the technological edge and services provided by the company.
