Kusumgar Appoints Puneet Singla As General Manager To Drive Next Phase Of Technical Textiles Growth

Kusumgar, one of India’s most trusted names in engineered fabrics and advanced technical textile solutions, has appointed Puneet Singla as its new General Manager. The company, known for its strong legacy built on Innovation, Integrity, Stewardship and Progression, is entering an expansion phase that aligns with Puneet’s extensive experience in textile leadership.

Kusumgar operates three modern manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and employs more than 1,000 people. The company produces over two million meters of high-performance fabrics each month and caters to critical sectors including Defence, Aeronautical, Outdoor, Workwear, Industrial and Automotive. Its product range spans specialized yarns from 15D to 3000D, including Nylon 6, Nylon 66, Polyester and Aramids.

Puneet built a diverse career across major textile companies before returning to Kusumgar in this leadership role. He has held key positions at JCT Limited, Arvind Limited, Morarjee Textiles and Kusumgar, gaining deep insight into product development, global markets and customer strategy. His progression from Assistant Manager Marketing to senior positions across multiple organisations reflects strong market acumen and leadership maturity.

He holds an MBA in Marketing Management from the School of Management Studies, graduating with an A grade. His educational background combined with more than a decade of industry experience strengthens Kusumgar’s future plans focused on innovation, operational excellence and expanded global engagement.

Kusumgar expects Puneet to play a central role in advancing its technical textiles portfolio, strengthening customer partnerships and driving sustainable growth in domestic and international markets.
