RSWM Ltd has commenced the new cotton crop season at its
Lodha Unit in Kapaas on a positive and symbolic note. The unit hosted an
auspicious Pooja ceremony on 20 November 2025, bringing together employees and
leadership to seek blessings for a successful year ahead. The event, led by
Kamal Kishore, Chief Executive and Business Head of RSWM, highlighted the
company’s continued commitment to quality, productivity and operational
excellence.
The start of the crop season holds strategic value for RSWM,
one of India’s largest yarn and fabric manufacturers, as cotton remains a
critical raw material for its spinning operations. India produced an estimated
316 lakh bales of cotton in 2024 to 2025, and industry projections for 2025 to
2026 indicate a stable supply supported by improved acreage and better farm
practices. RSWM’s early preparations aim to strengthen its sourcing efficiency
and ensure consistent output for both domestic and export markets.
The Lodha Unit has been expanding its capabilities in
premium cotton yarns, which continue to see demand growth across major global
regions. The company exports to more than 75 countries and has maintained a
strong presence in value added cotton products. The new season is expected to
support improved utilization levels and contribute to the company’s growth
plans.
