CMAI 3rd North India Garment Fair 2025 Draws Record Buyers And Strengthens Pan India Apparel Trade

The third edition of the North India Garment Fair 2025 concluded on a high note at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi after three days of intense business activity from November 25 to 27. The event, organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, brought together more than 125 exhibitors and attracted over 2,800 trade buyers from across the country.

The platform served as a strong growth driver for MSME garment manufacturers, enabling early festive season launches and large-scale business networking. Manufacturers from major apparel hubs such as Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Tiruppur, Ludhiana, Kolkata and Delhi NCR showcased collections across menswear, womenswear and kidswear.

A dedicated Tiruppur pavilion emerged as a major highlight of the fair. It strengthened North South sourcing linkages and reflected changing distribution patterns in the domestic apparel market. Buyers from leading retail chains and regional wholesalers placed significant orders across winter wear, fashion basics and youth categories.

CMAI President Santosh Katariya stated that the fair reinforced the association’s focus on expanding the footprint of domestic manufacturers across northern markets and strengthening retail supply networks. Exhibitors reported strong conversion rates, fresh distributor tie ups and repeat participation interest.

India domestic apparel market crossed US$ 69 billion in 2024 and continues to grow at over 9% annually. Events such as NIGF are playing a decisive role in aligning manufacturers with fast growing regional demand. The success of the 2025 edition positions the fair as one of North India most influential business platforms for the garment industry.
